Updates and What-nots...Oh! Nursing School...

Oh, my word…It’s been WAY TOO LONG since my last post…I’ve been so busy and beyond tired that I’m not sure what hurts worse…my eyelashes or nose hairs.

Nevertheless, here I am… Since December of 2018 until now, I have experienced grocery curbside pickup and gas station, the quadratic formula, linear equations, and APA format. My little Hercules and I have gone to the post office, filed taxes, attended field day, parent-teacher conferences, taken cats to be spayed and neutered, mowed the yard, grilled hot dogs, ate our weight in mac n ’cheese, clipped coupons, and forged our way through the pencil-wide path left in the garage to get to the back door.

Besides all of that riveting news, I thought it to be a grand idea to return to school to pursue my BSN-RN degree at the ripe old unmentionable age. It’s an advanced online program. A completely different approach to learning which really just equals an unlimited amount of frustration, tears and colorful vocabulary. It also encompasses a fashion statement along the lines of “what in the h%*ll” and “eeew”.

My therapists have become every gas station attendant and retail store cashier in the county who have succumbed to my ramblings about micro-organisms and technical writing. I just know they can’t wait for next semester to roll around. LOL! As far as grades… the motto is “C=RN” has become my mantra along with nursing students everywhere… or so I’m told.

To Be Continued....
